Rahima Foundation distributes backpacks to refugee children in Sacramento

Rahima Foundation had purchased 1100 backpacks filled with school supplies to be distributed to the children of refugee families living in the Sacramento Area. On Saturday, August 3rd 2019, five volunteers traveled to Sacramento and distributed 550 backpacks to students in pre-school thru high school. The remaining 550 backpacks will continue to be given to the children this week and the next, so they will have them before the start of school.
