Rahima Foundation introduces wellness pantry
September 2018 Rahima Foundation started the wellness pantry that serves low-income individuals that have one or more of five health conditions: pre-diabetes, gestational diabetes, diabetes, high blood pressure or high cholesterol. This program has been started to help improve a patient’s medical condition through controlled nutrition along with medical services provided by their doctor. Science proves that nutrition along with physical activity as well as medicine plays a crucial role in managing the health of a patient. Rahima Foundation is proud to partner with Kaiser Permanente and second Harvest Food Bank to help such individuals. We help by providing these people access to nutritional food like yogurt, fish, beans and fresh vegetables.
