STUDENT NEEDS
Students today are the problem solvers, scientists, artists, and leaders of tomorrow. We want to support them with nutritious snacks, fresh groceries, and awards to encourage their aspirations and potential.
Rahima Foundation has partnered with high schools to provide snacks for children who seek extra tutoring after school. We also support any parents of students in East Palo Alto with grocery supplements, should they require it.
We also serve snacks to toddlers in partnership with three preschools in Livermore. In 2018, we initiated multiple partnerships with Title One Schools to fill the nutrition gap where we can.
STUDENT COMPASSION AWARDS
Rahima Foundation offers certificates and financial awards to students who go above and beyond to show compassion, empathy and community service skills.
Our criteria for the selection of Student Award recipients:

BACKPACK DRIVE
Rahima Foundation has an active drive to collect backpacks for students who are unable to afford school supplies. We are helping local refugee and immigrant students, as well as a large refugee population in Sacramento. We can purchase backpacks in bulk for $25 each, which will be the more economical way for you to support financially. However, you can also donate in-kind through Amazon Smile at a cost of ~$50 each. If you decide to purchase yourself, and donate them in-kind to Rahima ,we request that you order neutral colors like red, black, tan, and grey.
