Activities > Zakat   We distribute Zakat on a monthly basis to 65-70 families, these families are either single mothers, disabled, elderly or homeless. In addition to this, each month we receive 25-30 applications for one time emergency assistance. Zakat is distributed in the form of rental credit, payment to utility companies for bills, gift coupons to major grocery outlets, or as emergency payments of bills to the billing party. Fitra is distributed as it is collected therefore we urge our donors to send their fitra before Eid so we can distribute it as we receive it.
